Stay with us in our lovingly restored Circa 1830’s Georgian Home in the heart of the Coal River Valley. Our Boutique Accommodation boasts eleven luxurious rooms, each of which has been renovated with meticulous care to add modern touches to the our countryside retreat. Experience effortless travel - our accessible rooms are purpose built with thoughtful details and practical feature to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable stay.
Experience a welcome drink on arrival, afternoon tea and a continental breakfast each morning included in your stay with a tour of our C1830 mansion and a complimentary “Estate” Wine Tasting at Pooley Wines Cellar Door.
To ensure privacy and a peaceful experience for our in-house staying guests, as well as diners who come to experience Buscombe’s Restaurant, we do not host weddings at our property. Our gated venue allows us to maintain an exclusive and comfortable environment for all staying and dining guests.

Buscombe’s Restaurant: You are automatically booked into our restaurant each night you stay with us. Please confirm your dining dates upon booking.

While this rate focuses on your accommodation, you are welcome to tailor your experience upon arrival:
Dining at Buscombe's: Join us for dinner 7 days per week, we have an in house a la carte and a special Menu a "paddock-to-plate" dinner experience featuring seasonal Tasmanian produce (bookings recommended) on the first Sunday of each month.
Breakfast: Add a freshly prepared Tasmanian breakfast to your stay on any morning of your choice for $35 per person each day.

Smooth Navigation: Even pathways connect the garden courtyard to the main historic homestead.

Upper-Level Access: For rooms on the higher floors, stairs are equipped with handrails built to safety codes.

Important Heritage Note: The Buscombe Suite
Location: Situated on the top floor of the Main House.
Access: This suite is accessed via a heritage staircase (two flights of stairs).
Note: Due to the historic preservation of the building, there is no lift access to this specific suite.
